Foo Fighters Announce New Album Details

The Foo Fighters have announced details of their new album. Their eighth studio album is titled “Sonic Highways: The Album”.  The album is expected to have a November 10 release date.

Accompanying the album will be an HBO series featuring the band called “Sonic Highways”. The series will debut on October 17 at 11pm.

Along with the title and release date, the arwork for the album can be seen to the left, and the band has revealed the album’s track listing as well. You can view the names of the eight tracks on the album below:

Sixx: A.M. Announce New Album Details

sixxamSixx: A.M. have announced some of the details of their upcoming third album.  Titled “Moden Vintage”, the new album is tentatively scheduled for an October 7, 2014 release. The first single will be “Gotta Get It Right”. You can view a track listing below:

Black Stone Cherry Announce New Album, Single

Black Stone Cherry has announced that their new album ‘Magic Mountain’ on May 6. According to the band’s website, the first single, “Me and Mary Jane” will impact radio sometime mid-February or early-March.

Chevelle Releases Audio for “Take Out The Gunman”

Chevelle has released the audio for “Take Out The Gunman”. The track is the first single off of the band’s new album titled La Gárgola, scheduled for release on April 1. Check it out below:

Motley Crue Announce “Farewell Tour”

Motley Crue have announced that their 2014 tour will be their last. With Alice Cooper along for the trek as the opening act, the band has signed a legally binding document stating that this will in fact be the last time the band will tour together. Lineup for Rise Above Fest Announced

Seether‘s “Rise Above Fest”, a fundraising concert that focuses on fighting mental illness and suicide is taking place on May 10, 2014 at Darling’s Waterfont Pavilion in Bangor, Maine. Seether will naturally be on the lineup, but they’ve also got Avenged Sevenfold, Motorhead, Hellyeah, Black Stone Cherry, Trivium, Skindred, Kyng, Muckler’s Circle and Devour The Day slated to perform as well.

Proceeds will benefit SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) and will go on sale Jan. 31.
